Meet the Animals

Meet Dusty, the Mini Horse! Dusty is Keller Family Farms certified 1st, 5th, and 6th Place Showhorse! He placed first in Youth Lead Line, 5th Place in   Youth Barrels, and 6th Place in Youth Pole Bending. Dusty is also our only gelding and is our professional photography horse. He has several years under his belt for photography sessions.

Meet Ellie, aka Eleanor, the Mustang! Hailing from Salt Wells Creek Wyoming, Ellie was born in captivity and was adopted by Ashlyn Orzechowski, Keller Family Farms' Barn Manager, at the end of 2023 from the Bureau of Land Management Wild Mustang and Burro Division. She was picked up in Gainesville, GA by Keller Family Farms as a yearling and has been raised at the farm ever since. And has just started her photography career.

Ellie has been trained by Ashlyn Orzechowski personally with the help of local trainers and has recieved high remarks on her incredible personality and willingness to learn.

Ellie going on 4 years of age this coming January has a handful of rides under her belt, and is Keller Family Farms resident Mustang Ambassador showing the CSRA that Mustangs aren't just feral untrainable horses, but they're horses with a heart of gold.

Meet Piper, the Mini Horse! Piper is the newest member to Keller Family Farms. She came with a very difficult backstory having been passed from owner to owner and never having a place to call her own, until now.

She's at Keller Family Farms with no plans on leaving. Because of her backstory, she's unfortunately not sound to ride by the littles like Dusty, but that doesn't make her purpose any less fulfilling. Piper has added a much needed dynamic and serves her purpose as a pasture companion for Ellie and Dusty as well as Keller Family Farms' two goats, Tinkerbell and Violet.
